Different stakeholders have key insights into seed system functioning during normal as well as stress periods. Seed Producer Groups, Agro-dealers, and Agro-Processors may offer detailed information about seed supplies, demand, price and emerging commercial opportunities. Government authorities can help contextualize the seed system information by describing broader agricultural trends, complementary development work (e.g. in water and environment management) and by linking the SSSA team to other select experts. Humanitarians, for their part, may contribute to all themes above, but can also bring into focus issues relevant to gender and to particularly vulnerable groups. Key informant guides appear below.
